Graphs to Linear Equations 2
Determine the linear equation for a graphed line in point slope form: y-y1=m(x-x1). Point slope form is the easiest format for taking a slope and any intersection point and making an equation.
This topic aligns to the following state standards
Grade 9: Lin B. The student interprets the meaning of slope and intercepts in situations using data, symbolic representations, or graphs.
Grade 9: Lin C. The student translates among and uses algebraic, tabular, graphical, or verbal descriptions of linear functions.
