Basic Word Problems

This topic covers the skill of solving basic word problems using addition or subtraction.

This topic aligns to the following state standards

Grade 1: Num 1. Demonstrates knowledge of the meaning of addition (putting together, increasing) and subtraction (taking away, comparing, finding the difference) using manipulatives, drawings, symbols, and story problems.
